Magnificent 6-star renovated church hall on edge of Lake District

Located in the quaint Cumbrian town of Cockermouth, with super easy access to the Lake District, this magnificent seven bedroomed renovated church hall sleeps up to twenty guests. This isn’t just five-star accommodation, this is six-star accommodation, with a plethora of chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and rustic stone walls, you literally can’t get more luxurious than this.

There is a grand main hall with a stunning circular dining table (that sits directly under a huge chandelier), two separate sets of sofas with large smart TVs and a pool table. If you head downstairs, you’ll find a state-of-the-art spa room that includes an eight-seater spa pool and an authentic wood sauna, plus a smart TV and music sound system. Outside, there are barbecuing facilities.

The bedrooms are really something too, they are all furnished to a very high standard, and all have smart TVs. The master bedroom has an emperor sized bed, plus a freestanding bath by the window (that will make you feel like a rich person in a film!) offering pretty town views with rolling hills in the background. AND there’s a private balcony that overlooks the main hall. The bathrooms are super cool too, some of the bathrooms even have golden WCs (we told you it didn’t get more luxurious than this!)

All Saints Rooms is found within the heart of the Cumbrian town of Cockermouth. This means you’ve got shops, restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. For a small town there are a surprising number of pubs. The Bitter End is just a four minutes’ walk away. There's also The Swan Inn, Seth's Bar and Castle Bar to name just a few. A big Sainsbury’s can be found just 0.3 miles from your accommodation. If you fancy a bit of culture on your trip then Wordsworth House is 0.4 miles away. You can drive to Bassenthwaite Lake within just 10 minutes. The incredibly popular tourist hotspot of Keswick can be found just a twenty-two minutes’ drive away too.

Accessibility

There are ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms, but this is a listed building and therefore access may be limited. Please discuss you requirements with a member of the team

Property Restrictions

  • The interior of the Property must be left clean and in good repair and condition.
  • Clean and keep free from blockages and obstructions all baths, sinks, lavatories, cisterns, drains, gutters, pipes, chimneys, and the like
  • Do not dispose of “wet wipes”, disposable nappies or other items of personal hygiene down the lavatory.
  • Keep clean the carpets, curtains and all other items in the inventory.
  • Keep clean the insides of all windows and replace any which break for any reason.
  • Pay for any necessary repairs or replacement goods damaged during the letting period.
  • Use the Property only as a holiday home for no more people than the maximum occupancy stated above and will not operate a business at the property or use it for any improper, immoral, or illegal purpose.
  • Not assign, sublet, charge or part with or share possession or occupation of all or part of the Property.
  • Do not cause nuisance or annoyance to the Owner, other occupants, or any neighbour.
  • Do not change or remove any of the Owner's furniture, fixtures and fittings or items on the inventory.
  • Do not change or install any locks on any doors or windows nor have additional keys made for any locks without the prior written consent of the Owner.
  • Do not keep or allow pets of any kind on the Property without the prior consent of the Owner.
  • Report to the Owner any disrepair or defect in respect of the Property or the fixtures and fittings and report any failure of mechanical or electrical appliances.
  • Allow the Owner, his agent, or contractors access to the Property at reasonable hours during the day, or to carry out urgent and unforeseen repairs or other works to the Property or to carry out maintenance of the appliances. The Owner will normally give at least 24 hours' notice, but the Holidaymaker will give immediate access in an emergency.
  • Whenever the Property is left unattended, the Holidaymaker will fasten all locks to all doors and windows and activate any burglar alarm, to prevent unauthorised access to the Property.

All clients package funds are held in a Client Funds Trust Account (CFTA) administered by an independent trustee to ensure maximum financial protection.
