A Wild West themed party house.... with its own bar!

When celebrating in Newcastle, why not take the weight off your feet in the Toon Saloon? This Wild West inspired apartment, sleeps six, or eight including sofa beds, and is the Toon’s quirkiest spot to stay. Within the saloon itself, you and your fellow cowboys (or gals) will have a spacious living area, a kitchenette - with kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and complimentary tea & coffee - and en-suite facilities . Even better you'll have your very own, in-house bar, ideal for your hoedown pre-drinks. Yeeha!

This apartment is located within Honeypot House which is found in the rowdy, rootin’, tootin’ Bigg Market, right above the hen/stag-friendly, Newcastle icon that is The Beehive pub. This area was formerly the site of Newcastle Zoo, where these days, herds of party animals flock to the site to eat, drink and find a mate – so really not a lot has changed... This particular square of bars in Newcastle is renowned for its ‘anything goes’ attitude, with raucous pubs, bars, nightclubs and strip clubs, and even a 24-hour Greggs right on your doorstep – ending a big night with a cheese and onion pasty never felt so good.

Being located in the Bigg Market, you’ll also be right in the heart of the city centre, with massive shopping centres, NUFC home ground, St. James’ Park, and the other main nightlife zones (including Geordie Shore-famed Diamond Strip), all well within walking distance. Luckily for you, these apartments are exclusive to Last Night of Freedom, meaning that you’ll get the very best rates through us, there’ll be no hidden fees and our HQ is only five minutes away should you need us.

The location couldn’t be any better. Here you are slap bang in the middle of the Bigg Market, one of Newcastle’s most popular nightlife areas. You’ve got a ton of bars within literal stumbling distance such as Filthy’s, Stein Bier Keller and swanky gin bar WC. You’re above the pub The Beehive. There’s a wide range of takeaways and a 24-hour Greggs just across the road. The club-laden Diamond Strip is a mere three minutes’ walk. Trust us, location is 10/10 for partying. It’s handy for the train station too being just a 4 minutes’ walk from Newcastle Central station.

Per room–card only - £300.00

A group security bond of £300.00 per room will be requested upon check-in. This will be refunded upon departure provided there is no damage to property and all house rules have been adhered to.

Payment can be made by pre-authorisation on a card. Please be aware pre-authorisations will take 3-5 working days to be credited back to your account.

Checking In

Access is via a keycode locked door. You will be contacted the week of travel to make the security deposit payment. Once this is arranged you will be provided with the key codes.

Early Check In/ Late Check Out is subject to availability and can't be confirmed until the week of travel. There may be an additional cost for this

Minimum Stay

There is a 2 night minimum stay on a weekend, arriving Friday or Saturday night. Looking to stay a third night - its half price

Accessibility

The apartments are located within a listed building and are only accessible by a flight of stairs. The apartment contains bunk beds and steps within the apartment. Please discuss your requirements with a member of the team

Unfortunately the code was not sent to us prior to arrival so it was a bit of hassle getting that but other than that a good experience

Would certainly say that the Toon Saloon was a good move when it came to the weekend.

The accomidation is perfect for what we needed and is situatuated right in the centre of the town. The best part by far would have to be the Bar, which of course is bring your own bottle. We sat up the most of the night drinking round the bar ended up playing games like beer pong, playing music on the TV.
