We offer everything from luxury 4-star hotels in the centre of Amsterdam, to cheap and cheerful hotels in the Red Light District itself. With almost 20 different accommodation options in Amsterdam, it’s safe to say there’s something to suit every group celebrating here.
If you’re looking for ease of access, France Hotel is just seconds from Centraal Station, whereas if your nights are going to be centred around Leidseplein 24-hour nightlife hub, you’re probably best off going for a spot like Inner Hotel, located in Amsterdam’s Museum Quarter. For anyone who wants to be absorbed in the true Amsterdam experience, Stayokay Zeeburg, Generator Hostel Amsterdam and XO Hotel position you right in the heart of The Red Light District, with all its bars, cafes and alluring, neon-lit windows – basically, it’s where stag do dreams are made. Speaking of Generator Hostel, this 1900s building is steeped in history, and even has its own secret, late night bar in the original boiler room.
Amsterdam is all about quirky hostelsNH Amsterdam Schiller is a piece of Amsterdam’s history in its own right. Located on the edge of the vibrant Rembrandt Square, one of the busiest nightlife areas in the entire capital, this place is the former haunt of writers, artists and creative Amsterdam locals – and now, your stag do. However, if the idea of staying in the seriously loud and crowded centre fills you with dread, you could always plump for the Meininger City West, which is a very pleasant 20 minutes cycle from the city centre. That’s one way to sweat the booze out of your system…
We have reserved allocation in some of Amsterdam's top hotelsOur huge range of stag-friendly hotels, apartments and hostels are located, on the whole, in the central parts of the city. Even though Amsterdam is pretty widespread as far as capital cities go, you’ll be able to catch a tram or hail a taxi into the main nightlife areas from all of our accommodation options. France Hotel, NH Carlton Amsterdam and XO Hotel are amongst our most central on offer, which are easily walkable from Leidseplein or the Red Light District. However, if you’re staying in the likes of Meininger City West, Motel One or Corendon Vitality Hotel, we’d recommend getting a taxi to and from the centre, to your accommodation. For more information on taxi prices, and alternative forms of travel within Amsterdam, see the ‘getting around’ section of our guide.
As we send so many groups of stags to Amsterdam, we have the privilege of reserved room allocation in all of the hotels, apartments and hostels which we have on offer. Usually, we can get your group sorted in accommodation without any problems, but on certain popular weekends of the year, rooms become a bit more scarce. King’s Day, Ascension Day, Pentecost, Dekmental Festival and Pride Weekend are all among the dates to watch out for. Your LNOF sales team member will make you aware of these dates, if you happen to enquire about any of these busy dates on the Amsterdam calendar.
Of course. We want you to worry about where the next round’s coming from, not whether you’re protected if anything should happen with your accommodation. When booking with us, you can rest assured that you’ll be totally covered. Last Night Ltd are ABTA protected (Y6354) which gives you peace of mind that we an accredited travel company and that you have legal protection as well. If you’d like more information on how ABTA affects your Amsterdam stag weekend, see here.
