Whether you’re after 5-star luxury or just a cheap and cheerful hostel on your Dublin stag do, we’ve got the ideal accommodation to suit every group’s needs. We have over 20 hotels in and around the centre of Dublin, ranging from hotels nested within the world-renowned Temple Bar itself, to some on Parnell Street and even a couple on Harcourt Street, the notorious nightlife strip.
If you’re after an all-round party place that couldn’t be more tailored to stags if it tried, Harcourt Hotel is where you need to be. With its own in-house nightclub, Dtwo, this hotel ticks all those stag party boxes. It’s also on the same street as Russel Court Hotel, which is right next-door to CopperFace Jack’s, the street’s second liveliest nightclub. If you’re wanting to blow the budget on your Dublin weekend, the Hilton Garden Inn Dublin Custom House is a good shout - located on the banks of the river, just a short taxi ride away from all the action, you’ll be living in the lap of luxury here. If you prefer the spacious and free apartment way of life, the Millennium Walk Apartments are the ideal place to crash, right within Temple Bar itself, whereas, slightly further out, St. Augustine Street Apartments are an extremely good alternative to a hotel or hostel. For cheap stag do accommodation, the Four Courts Hostel has its own games room and the Generator Hostel is reliably good value and right in the heart of all the action, next-door to the Jameson Distillery.
Breakfast in bed, anyone? It is totally possible to get to and from your accommodation on foot, but if you’ve had one too many Guinnesses, you may need to take a short taxi ride to get yourselves back. For example, if you’ve been partying in the Temple Bar or North of the Liffey areas, it’s going to be quite a walk to get to the likes of the Harcourt Hotel, but no longer than a 10 minute taxi. The 4-star Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane is probably the furthest accommodation out of the city centre that we offer, and even that is only going to take you 13 minutes in a taxi to get to the cobbled streets of the Temple Bar – meaning more time to get on those pints.
There are many plush apartments available in DublinIf you’ve left plenty of time between initially booking and the weekend itself, we shouldn’t have any trouble getting availability for you. However, if it’s a last minute one, when you call up to enquire, your sales team member will advise that certain weekends are manic in Dublin. We’re talking about the likes of St. Patrick’s Day, Dublin Pride Weekend, Six Nations, Longitude Festival and big concerts in the city – where rooms become like gold dust at the end of those wee rainbows. With Dublin, we’d always recommend booking well in advance, because it’s just such a popular spot for stags.
