We want to keep things nice and easy when you’re organising a destination stag, so we’ve narrowed down the hotel options for you so you don’t need to waste any time choosing where to stay, and you can get on with the good stuff, like choosing where to drink. If you’re wanting a hotel right in the heart of Munich’s city centre, then look no further than Hotel Andra. This 3-star hotel is perfect for those of you who don’t want the fuss of finding your way back home at the end of a heavy night of beer and schnitzel. Right in the centre of town, you’re surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars, perfect for any stag trip who doesn’t want any fuss. From hotel to bars in under 5 minutes – what could be better?
For convenient transport, the A&O München Hackerbrücke is ideal. Found right by the train station, you’re a stone’s throw from buses and undergrounds, meaning that no matter which part of Munich you’re wanting to explore, you can get there and back with no messing about. This 3-star hostel comes complete with a bar on site so you can get the party started before you head out for the night. A&O München Hackerbrücke is the perfect location; within walking distance of the town centre, it is perfect for a quick stroll into town for a bite to eat, or if you’re wanting to experience something a bit further out then you can walk out of your door and onto the tram to get you anywhere you want to be. Germany is infamous for its trams, and it’s one of the easiest ways to get from A to B - you can even tell people you saw some sites – they don’t need to know it was en route to a bar.
A&O LAIM is found a little further from the city centre, but with some of the easiest public transport in the world to get you around, you don’t need to worry about compromising your trip. Not to mention, the further out the city centre you get, the more reasonable the pricing is – and who doesn’t want to save some extra money to spend on sampling even more Bavarian beer? Just like the A&O München Hackerbrücke, A&O Laim is bang on the tram tracks, meaning you can get around with no hassle at all. Munich has thought of everything, with its underground and tram’s running a night service too, so now you have no excuse for heading home early.
A&O Munchen Hauptbahnhof is another hostel with a prime location right in the heart of Munich. Located on the West of the city centre, it’s a quick and easy walk to get into town, where you have all of Munich’s incredible nightlife and food readily available.
If a hotel or hostel isn’t your thing, here at LNOF we really have thought of everything, so if none of these are taking your fancy, just let us know and we’ll be happy to tell you about the central apartments we have scattered all across the city. Whichever area takes your fancy, we’ll be able to recommend you an apartment nearby. Whilst most hotels and hostels have the benefit of on-site bars, private apartments have the glory of total privacy, allowing you to come and go as you please, and really who comes all the way to Germany to drink in the hotel?
We know you want to be out and about with as little hassle as possible, so all of our apartments are located within walking distance of the city centre and all of its bars and clubs. Apartments are available to groups so don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to find something which suits your group size, style and budget.
We always like to ensure that all of our hotels give our stags easy access to the city centre, and all of our Munich hotels, hostels and apartments are within walking distance of any bars, clubs and events that might take your fancy. However, if you do end up a little further afield, or just fancy seeing what’s out there, Munich is known for its fantastic public transport. The over-ground trams and underground subway systems run at regular intervals, and there is a stop on almost every corner. They even run an overnight system, so no matter how far you’ve drunkenly wandered, you’re always able to get yourself into bed at the end of the night.
We at LNOF are pretty savvy when it comes to these things, so we have reserved room allocation for every hotel that we recommend. We should point out though, that some weekends do tend to be extra busy – Munich has some amazing events throughout the year which are worth the visit alone, however they do mean that the city fills up pretty quickly so it’s best to book early. Some events to be aware of are; Ascension Day at the end of May, Pentecost which is held every year at the beginning of June, and the ISPO Trad Fare which occurs every February and is well worth checking out if you’re into sports. And let’s not forget, one of Munich’s most notorious festivals – Oktoberfest, which runs that last week of September through to the start of October. This world-famous festival is a must-see for beer fans, but please note that to book a stag weekend during this time it is worth booking well in advance to avoid disappointment.
No matter what the dates, a member of our LNOF staff will make you aware of any clashing events for your chosen weekend, but booking in advance should guarantee you aren’t disappointed.
Of course – LNOF knows how much your stag means to you, so we do everything we can to make sure you can relax and enjoy your weekend with confidence. You will be completely covered should anything happen, including your accommodation. Last Night Ltd prides itself on being CFTA protected so we are a fully accredited travel company who can provide you with all necessary legal protection.
