Best Benidorm Nightlife Areas for a Stag Do

Benidorm is like a sprawling metropolis of skyscrapers and fun bars, which means you’ll find something different around every corner. Although there’s fun to be had all across this golden town, you’ll find each neighbourhood distinctly different, with a plethora of experiences on offer. From the charms of Old Town, where you’ll find some of the best tapas this side of Alicante, to the bustling city centre which is the place to be on a night-time.

    Old Town

    Charming Old Town provides sweeping vistas of Benidorm’s famous beaches and miles of cobbled streets to explore. If you’re looking for a bit of Spanish culture on your stag do in Benidorm, then head to Tapas Alley, where you’ll be treated to some authentic Spanish grub, sangria and perhaps even some flamenco dancing. Old Town is a great spot to walk off that hangover and find a decent meal to soak up the alcohol.

    The heart and soul of Benidorm, Spain's very own sin city is awash with bars, strippers and booze that's even cheaper than the supermarket. This is the resort that almost never sleeps, with boozers open until 7am with The Square - Benidorm's infamous neon-lit strip - at the centre of the action. The resort absolutely loves stags and you won't have to worry about getting in venues here. Nor will you have to worry about the cost, with beer offered for a Euro a pint. The vast majority of punters are British, so it will feel like home away from home, while the venues are open almost all-year around. But be warned, when the sun goes down the venues get unbelievably busy so if you are after a quiet one, look elsewhere!

Top 10 Stag Friendly Benidorm Pubs & Clubs 2025

Considering there are around 800 bars in Benidorm, whittling that down to 10 is no easy feat - especially when the vast majority are absolutely dynamite. A night out in Beni is like nothing else - you can be belting out karaoke one minute, and then watching a Star Wars-themed sex show the next whilst sipping a beer that cost less than a Greggs' sausage roll. There really is nowhere else like it on Earth.

Fun fact - one of our ground handlers was actually a speaking-part extra in Benidorm and still gets royalty cheques to this day.     Algar Falls

    Another famous scene from TV’s Benidorm, when Brandy (played by Sheridan Smith) stole dull Martin’s clothes and forced him to use a child as a shield, was filmed at the naturally beautiful Algar Falls. Enjoy the scenic journey through the Spanish countryside (about 9 miles) before arriving at the breathtaking waterfalls where you can take a dip in the natural pools (just keep a close eye on your clothes!)

    The Island of Benidorm

    Standing on the famous golden beaches of Benidorm, you will no doubt notice an island not too far from the coastline. Legend says the island was formed by a kick of King Jaime’s horse in the 12th century, which sent a portion of the Puig Campana mountain into the sea. What we do know is The Island of Benidorm is today a nature reserve for endangered birds and can be visited via daily ferry trips.

    Benidorm Town Hall

    Plaça de SS. MM. Els Reis d'Espanya, 1, 03501, Alicante, Spain

    Locally known as the “floor scraper” due to its long and short nature, this building was built in 2003. The building, held up by four pillars, hovers over the road and acts a doorway into the green zone ‘L’Aiguera’ park. This building has gained interest from architects all over the word. If you look closely, you’ll be able to see metal slats covering the windows with names of over 60000 Benidorm residents from the year of completion of the building carved into them.

Staying Safe in Benidorm

Benidorm is a brilliant place where you can have the stag of your lives, but it's still best to exercise some basic safety tips so you remember the trip for all of the right reasons. Here are our top six safety tips for stags in Benidorm:
