Best Krakow Nightlife Areas for a Stag Do

Krakow is home to some of the coolest bars in Poland and will certainly have you ‘cracking on’ until the early hours. The town centre is the place to be on an evening, with bars and clubs lining the medieval Market Square and cool cocktail bars in Kazimierz, the city’s historic Jewish Quarter.

  • Market Square in Krakow.
    • Buzzing,
    • Historical,
    • Iconic

    Market Square

Krakow’s medieval Market Square dates back to the 13th century and is popular with historical enthusiasts and stag dos alike. Centred around the antique Cloth Hall, popular bars and clubs line the streets offering premium vodka and gorgeous girls. If you’re more Zubrowka cocktails than shots however, then head over to the laid-back B4 which is the perfect spot for cool stags looking for a laid-back evening.

  • The Jewish Quarter in Krakow.
    • Quaint,
    • Authentic,
    • Old School

    Kazimierz (The Jewish Quarter)

Kazimierz is the place to head for chic cocktails and banging beers. The stripped back Piekny Pies doesn’t strike as your typical stag do night out, but what they lack in wallpaper they make up for in authentic polish piwo (that’s beer to me and you). La Habana Bar however will transport you from chilly Poland to the sunnier climbs of Cuba with their delicious mojitos.

Staying Safe in Krakow

Safety might not be the most exciting aspect of going on a stag in Krakow but it's well worth bearing in mind. Here are our top six safety tips:

1

Stick together with your mates so no one is left wandering around Krakow on their own

2

Set up a group chat and put your address accommodation in it (including any pass codes you may need) so everyone has got it

3

With the alcohol flowing it's possible that some groups might get a little lairy. Try not to engage with any other groups looking to start a conflict

4

Keep to the main areas of Krakow rather than straying into unfamiliar neighbourhoods that may be unsafe

5

Don't put your valuables anywhere they can be accessed easily in case of pickpockets

6

If you're partying anywhere near the Vistula river then be mindful around water when intoxicated

By keeping these safety tips in mind we're sure you'll have a smashing Prague stag.
