LNOF Guide to Blackpool

Blackpool has a well-deserved reputation as a party paradise

It’s got excitement and fun running through it like, well, like Blackpool Rock. Slot machines, candy-floss, donkeys and dodgems provide an impressive retro-chic backdrop - as thousands of Blackpool stag weekend parties mingle with locals and visitors alike, in a carefree carnival of irrepressible humour and glorious wickedness.

You can't fail to be aware of Blackpool's saucy postcard image from an early age – but, it’s on a stag weekend that the town’s famous lights will really illuminate. If your weekend's booked, your T-shirts are ordered and you've saved enough for a big blow-out when you get there, our advice to you is simple: hang on tight, this could be a serious white-knuckle ride.

The nightlife is cheap and cheerful and the Pleasure Beach cures any hangover. Blackpool is the boss.

The binge-drinking culture of Blackpool stag weekends should not and will not change. A whopping range of bars line the main strip, pulling you in with happy hours and promos that can kick-start the coldest of engines. Great-value eateries and noisy, neon-lit entertainment emporiums stack up in their hundreds. With an easily-reachable north-west location, a proven track record for scintillating stag weekends and a chance to get sand between your toes, this cheeky Mecca of mirth still has few peers to rival it. Though it does have one pier. And it’s a crackin’ one.

"Very good, cracking venue. The only criticism I have is the pleasure beach didn't have confirmation of payment upon out arrival and took it on trust to let us gain access."

"Had a really good weekend, plenty of different pubs and clubs. There was a slight issue with getting the tickets for the pleasure beach that I had booked, but Last Night of Freedom sorted it out straight away. I would recommend using Last Night of Freedom for a stag do, as it saves a lot of the organisation hassles that you tend to get doing anything with a group of lads"

"Hotel was ok (does need a bit of redecorating as mentioned on various review websites) Was more than suitable for our needs. Breakfast was a bit dire though (especially after drinking night before)

Activity was great the guys were very friendly and even allowed us to take the archery targets. The Saturday club was good. Although the 80's club on the Friday was a bit empty.

No trouble with any of the pre-booked things (hotel, clubs, activities) they didn’t even mind when we turned up dressed as Star Wars characters! If anything they loved it. We even got shouts from the DJs and a few free drinks for being a bit more original in our fancy dress. Overall we had a brilliant time. Just a shame it was all over so quick.
,br /> I would definitely recommend your website. We may even book another stag do."

"Blackpool was a good night out, once we worked out where to head to. Lap dancing club was a letdown as we were told that its closed on a Friday!! Would recommend Blackpool as a venue but beware hotels are very basic and a bit run down."

"Blackpool, Didn't really know what to expect but have heard its a good place for a stag weekend away. Which it was I'm glad to say.

The Hotel if I'm honest wasn't the best. The rooms where really nice no problem there but some areas need a bit of work done. But lets be honest the only time you will be in the hotel is to sleep and for breakfast so it wasn't a problem.

Friday night we had tickets to a club which was ok but a bit quiet.

We did quad biking on Saturday and this was a lot of fun. Everyone really got into it and had a great time. Of course there was the banter at the end of the session when the places where called out for the time trials.

Saturday night we had tickets to another club, this was a really good place, it had an outside courtyard area with a bar and BBQ, there are different rooms playing different music, but for me it was all about the Dance room, Hard house and Trance all the way will 3am, and they were playing some classics as well.

All in all was a great weekend, and I would recommend it."

"Hotel was a bit rough in terms of finish - but the service was good, and you get what you pay for I suppose. The night-life wasn't to my taste, but we all had a good time. Clay shooting was excellent, and very well organised - excellent."

"Absolutely fantastic value for money and the standard of service was out of this world. I would highly recommend using Last Night of Freedom, especially for ease of stress if you are the Best Man!"
