Edinburgh
Overview
Tuck into a delicious, hearty 3-course meal made with local produce
The Parliament Arms is a quaint Scottish pub and kitchen found in the heart of the Old Town. Step inside and you will find cosy booth seating and a bar that's stocked with all your favourite Scottish spirits (yes of course whisky is there, as are refreshing local ales). The food here is made with locally-sourced produce. This place is ideal if you want tasty food in a welcoming setting.
Menus are subject to change, but the kind of food you can expect is hearty, comforting pub food with a Scottish twist. To give you an idea the starters may consist of dishes like soup of the day, MacSween’s Haggis Croquettes - with Whisky Cream Sauce, Medley of Mushrooms on Toasted Bread - In a garlic & cream sauce and more.
For mains you can expect dishes like fish & chips, homemade steak and sausage pie, Haggis/Vegetarian Haggis, Goat’s Cheese, Avocado and Red Pepper Salad and panko chicken breast. Finally, desserts may include delights such as Traditional Cranachan, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Chocolate Whisky Brownie and Apple Pie. Finding a table for a big group is not always easy so we would recommend getting a meal or two booked in. And what could be better than enjoying some lovely, Scottish-inspired food whilst in the capital?
