You and your group will be taught the basics under the guidance of an expert firearms instructor, and you'll shoot four different and dangerous guns - taking your target sheets home with you. You will have 30 bullets in total. You'll have 10 shots on the semi-automatic Glock, or Makarov, five on the Kalashnikov, 10 with a Margolin and five on a pump-action shotgun.
The Glock, used by Special Forces and the army in over 48 different countries, is a beast, with 37 different variations. The Glock you may be shooting is the Glock 17 Chambered – the gun of choice for many police forces.
The Kalashnikov is world-famous, with over 100,000,000 created, and you'll be shooting the latest SAIGA version of the AK-47 – with plastic stock and picattiny rail mounts. The pump-action shotgun is the most popular weapon on the range, not least because of the ability to force-feed it any kind of 20 gauge cartridge regardless of its length, and amount of gunpowder.
Last but certainly not least, you've got the Margolin – a legendary USSR pistol designed by blind gunsmith, Mikhail Margolin, all the way back in the 50s. To this day, this gun is still used in covert operations due to the sheer lack of noise when shooting.
