When it comes to accommodation, we have the cream of the crop in Riga. We offer everything from classy 4-star haunts including Old Riga Palace, to cheap and cheerful period properties in the centre of Riga, like Irina Hotel. We can’t go any further without giving a massive shout out to X-Dream, the ultimate lad pad and our number one rated hotel in the entire capital. Just a five minute drive from Riga Old Town, this hotel not only boasts an enviable location, but also has its very own in-house bar and strip club. The rooms are decent too, not that you’ll find yourselves in them very often… You can even get yourselves night with steak and strippers here, for the ultimate alpha male activity.
The skyline bar is a big draw to the Radisson BluAlternatively, our much coveted Radisson Blu Hotel Latvia is where to head if you’re after a bit of sophistication; with plush rooms, an exclusive spa and its very own Skyline bar looking over the city, this one’s a bit posh. Hotel Tia is another popular one in Riga, due to its excellent transport links to the airport, and Dodo Hotel is a favourite due to its proximity to Studio 69, the world-famous Riga megaclub. To find out more information about our top 10 hotels in Riga, as well as distances from the city centre and nightlife zones, check out our in-depth Stag Do Guide to Riga.
The Old Town is generally classified as the centre of Riga, and definitely the place you need to be when it comes to tourist attractions and stag-friendly bars and clubs. The majority of our Riga accommodation is within a five minute taxi ride from the centre of the Old Town, meaning that you won’t be forking out lots of cash for expensive taxi journeys – a reasonable price to pay for a taxi from your accommodation to the Old Town is €6.
It’s worth noting, however, that there’s a €5 fee for passing through the Old Town, so if you request to be dropped on the periphery, you’ll save yourselves a couple of quid. For more information on getting around Riga, see our Stag Do Guide to Riga.
Make sure that your accommodation is central and comfortableAs we send so many stags to Riga each year, we are offered cheaper rates and more availability with rooms – which we pass on to our customers. Usually, we can get your group sorted in accommodation without any problems, but on popular weekends in the Riga calendar, room availability is a little bit more difficult to come by. Your sales team member will make you aware of any clashing dates, to avoid disappointment.
Yes, you are. We don’t want you to have to worry about ‘what ifs’ when it comes to your accommodation, which is why we always recommend booking with a reputable, ABTA protected company. Last Night Ltd are ABTA protected (Y6354) meaning that should anything go wrong, you’re legally covered, as you’re booking with an accredited travel company. If you’d like more information on how ABTA affects your Riga stag weekend, see here.
