On behalf of everyone at Last Night of Freedom I sincerely hope that you and your family have managed to remain safe and well during this time.
We’re certainly experiencing the toughest situation we’ve ever had to deal with since we established in 1999. However, I just wanted to write to you to let you know what’s going on at Last Night of Freedom and how we’re dealing with things.
Over the past few weeks we’ve been working hard to deal with customers that have had a stag or hen do cancelled. If that has happened to you I’m genuinely sorry that your event hasn’t been able to go ahead. I know it's a very frustrating situation and it's causing real problems for many of you.
We have had to take the very difficult but necessary decision to furlough as many of our staff as we can so that we can successfully navigate this very tough time financially. I’m afraid that, even though the remaining team is working around the clock, the effect of that has been much longer waiting times to get through to us (and in some cases a temporary suspension of some of our processes). If you are still waiting on us getting in touch with you please know that we have you in a queue, we are getting back on track and are contacting everyone in priority order. It might take a while but I promise we WILL get back to you.
Please Postpone, Don't Cancel
We know plans are up in the air at the moment and we also know that cash is tighter for some people than others. If at all possible, if you can I’d implore you to please postpone your travel plans rather than cancelling them. All funds will still be protected by our Client Funds Trust Account (CFTA) and by doing that you’re really helping out not only Last Night of Freedom but also everyone in our supply chain. That’s airlines, hotels, restaurants, pubs, clubs and activity centres. By rearranging your trip rather than cancelling you’ll give a much needed lifeline to the whole travel industry that needs your help to survive now more than ever. Hopefully together we can help save future travel for everyone.”
I really hope you can help us with this and really look forward to us being able to help you plan your stag or hen do once the world starts turning again.
