Top 15 Things to Do on a

Benidorm has consistently been one of our most popular stag do locations. From hitting up the strip to taking it easy in a beach club, Benidorm is a belter. Take a look at our top picks of the top 15 things to do in Benidorm.

1

Hit The Strip

We’ve gotta start with the obvious, hitting the famous Strip. The Strip (also known as Calle Gerona) is the epicentre of Benidorm’s nightlife. This place is absolutely rammed with bars, some of the most famous being The Red Lion (a wild sports bar) and Rockstar (a rock ‘n’ roll themed bar). This one street alone is like Disneyland for stags; you can’t come to Beni and skip it! You can even take part in the Smashed Guided Bar Crawl, which is a public party bar crawl, that usually has more than 100 people on it.

Head to the Beach

After a hard day’s night, you’re going to want some chill time. Lucky for you, Benidorm has three lovely golden beaches you can head to, the most famous being Levante beach, which is lined with bars if you just want to get back on it right away. Here you can rent a sun lounger and top up that tan. There is also Poniente Beach, but this one is a little more family-focused and Mal Pas Beach, which is a smaller, quieter beach offering picturesque surroundings.

Watch a ‘Sticky Vicky’ style show

This one is not for the faint-hearted but will definitely create a lot of banter over the trip. Sticky Vicky was a performer who famously would pull (or appear to pull) various different items out of her….er…. special area (if you get what we mean!). Sadly, Sticky Vicky isn’t around any longer but there are Sticky Vicky Style shows that you can go to. You won’t forget this magic show in a hurry….

Chill out in a Beach Club

Level up your beach experience by heading to a beach club. We’d really recommend the Oasis Day Club Party which will see you overlooking the Med whilst enjoying a free bar of beer, sangria and soft drinks for a couple of hours as well as getting a lunch of mixed paella served with fresh bread. A resident DJ will be playing songs to get everyone in the party mood. This is a recommended day activity for stags in Benidorm because it offers a nice mix of being relaxed with fun, party vibes.

Aqualandia

Benidorm is known for having plenty of hot sunny days. Heading to a waterpark is the ideal way to cool down. Aqualandia is one of the biggest and best in the area. Boasting fifteen water rides, this is a great place for thrill seekers and people who just want to chill out alike. Slides include Vertigo (two slides that are 28 and 33 meters high), Black Hole (for a thrilling ride in the dark) and Splash (a fun slide where you can race your pals). For a more relaxed pace, head to the Grand Jacuzzi or the Wave Pool. This is a great one to ‘slide’ into your itinerary…

Tapas Alley

Yes Benidorm is great for boozing, but it would be a shame to miss out on the delicious food it has to offer. Found in the Old Town, Tapas Alley is a charming street that’s bursting with authentic tapas bars that can be found on both sides of alley with plenty of outdoor seating. There’s nothing to cure a hangover like lots of little Spanish dishes so they say (well, so we say!). Foodies aren’t gonna want to miss this one.

Check out Benidorm filming locations

Running for 10 series, Benidorm is a hit British comedy TV show full of iconic moments (Madge getting mistaken for the Pope, need we say more). If you’re a fan of the show you might want to check out some of the filming locations including the totally iconic Neptune's Bar (known as Morgan’s Tavern in real life). There’s also the gorgeous Algar Falls where Martin needed to figure out what to do when Brandy (played by Sheridan Smith) stole his clothes (if you know, you know). More on this later down the list.

If you fancy a bit of entertainment on your trip, then there’s nowhere that does it quite like . This isn’t just a show, it’s a spectacle. Boasting 45+ years experience, here you can enjoy singing, dancing, circus skills, comedy, magic and more! Expect breath-taking choreography and some seriously fabulous costumes. You can combine dinner with a show if you’d like. This is a great thing to do before hitting the strip.

Star Wars Sex Show

Exactly as it sounds…. This is a sex show… themed to Star Wars. Yes, this is a real thing that exists, and it’s not in a galaxy far far away… it’s in Benidorm! You can expect Darth Vader on roller skates and Princess Leia in a…..shall we say…. compromising position. We don’t want to spoil it for you, but it’s safe to say that this sci-fi romp doesn’t quite stick to the plot of the film…. You’ll never look at Darth Vader in the same way again!

Boat Party

Benidorm may have a ton of boozers, but don’t forget to see it from the water too for lovely views and an unbeatable atmosphere. A is perfect for making new pals for the afternoon/evening. Boat parties are all different depending on which one you go for but usually there is a DJ on board and a bar to buy drinks from. It’s a great way to prepare yourself for a night on the strip.

Enjoy a Boozy Brunch

It’s easy to associate a bottomless brunch with hen dos, but actually getting a boozy brunch on your itinerary is one of the best things you can do. When you’re with a bunch of lads, making sure everyone is fed is no easy task. Having something booked in, where you can choose some food and having it coming with free-flowing alcohol just makes sense. There are various places you can do this including Baldo Restaurant & Cocktail Bar and Oasis Day Club.
