One of the hardest (and least fun) parts of organising a stag is sorting out the hotels. Finding somewhere that’s stag-friendly, central and fits the budget can be a chore. At Last Night of Freedom we’ve already done the hard work, narrowing the choice down to the five best Aberdeen hotels for stag dos. Ranging between 3 and 4-stars, we’ve been sure to include something that fits any budget, so all you need to do is work out which is going to be the best for your weekend.
For a trusted option that won’t break the bank, Aberdeen boasts two Travelodges, guaranteeing you spacious rooms and 3-star facilities so that you can still wake up in comfort, even if you’re feeling fragile from the night before. Both offer 24 hour availability, fantastically clean facilities and breakfast and dinner services, meaning that sleeping basic doesn’t mean sleeping uncomfortable. Both are also walking distance from the city’s must-sees, with Travelodge Aberdeen Central close to the sunny (ish) shores of Aberdeen beach, and the Justice Mill Lane nestled amongst shops, restaurants and main culture stops.
For a weekend with an upgraded feel, there’s always Village Hotel. This 3-star accomodation offers a contemporary décor, meaning you don’t have to settle for a stuffy looking place just to stick to your budget. Complete with room service, gym, bar, restaurant and even a spa, this is a great option for the stag that’s looking for a little extra. And finally, for a 4-star upgrade there is the Hilton Garden Inn – Aberdeen City Centre. But what is the difference in standard from the 3 stars, exactly? Think walk in rain showers, locally sourced Scottish cuisine, and amazing location on Union Street – the very street under which The Tunnels underground live music venue is situated.
All of our accommodation is chosen for their super central location so that you are no more than a short walking distance from Aberdeen’s main city centre attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. However if you do plan an activity that requires travel to further afield, then we can organise a transfer for you at a small fee. Just let us know and we’ll sort that out for you.
We have reserved room allocation in all of our hotels to ensure you don’t miss out on your preferred room. However some weekends do fill up quicker than others so we do recommend booking as far in advance as possible so that you get first pickings. But don’t worry – our team always double checks your booking to make sure everything goes to plan.
Yes – as a fully accredited travel company, we at Last Night Ltd are an CFTA protected. This means you are fully protected should anything go wrong while you’re away, including any problems that might occur with your accommodation.
