Bristol, Briz Vegas to some, is incredibly rich in culture and things to do from exploring the Banksy murals to having a neb around the fantastic St Nicholas Market.
Banksy Murals
There’s plenty to see in Bristol, most notably the works of the elusive world-famous street artist and political activist Banksy. No one knows the identity of Banksy (conspiracy theorists say it’s Art Attack's Neil Buchan, but we’ll never know). There’s a lot of Banksy's earlier work that you can find around Bristol. Look out for Mild Mild West, found around Stokes Croft (which has been there since the 90s), Well Hung Lover, which is a naked man hanging from a window, found on Park Street, and The Girl with the Pierced Eardrum, which is a parody of Johannes Vermeer’s painting Girl with a Pearl Earring.

Another thing on our list designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel (he gets about, doesn’t he?), is this magnificent bridge. It was built back in 1835 and took thirty-three years to build. Its designer sadly died five years before the bridge was open. There’s a visitors’ centre at the bridge, where you can learn about the history, construction and maintenance of this world-famous bridge. Cars cross this eye-catching landmark at the rate of 3.2 million journeys a year.
