1. Livello

Livello is a belta place to kick off your Geordie Shore crawl.

Just off the glorious Newcastle Quayside, it’s chic, stylish and has a giant, iconic gorilla in the luxurious outdoor seating area – what’s not to love? In the lavish and luxurious Livello, you’re sure to feel like VIPs from the off - boasting an exclusive VIP area and sleek, sophisticated interiors, this really is a classy place to grab yourselves a drink and kick start your night.

If you’re feeling a bit fancy, take a look at the extensive cocktail menu, which includes Jay Z’s very own Ace of Spades champers. With regular resident DJ set nights, it’s no surprise why this place is so popular amongst visitors, locals, and the Geordie Shore lads and lasses.

2. Tup Tup Palace

Hitting the Toon’s nightlife scene back in 2007, Tup Tup Palace is a unique, multi-level nightclub located within the heart of the city.

With a growing reputation as Newcastle’s celeb-hub nightclub, Tup Tup Palace has been graced by a plethora of famous faces, such as Drake, Kanye West, Ed Sheeran, Nicola Roberts, Example, The Saturdays, and, of course, is a regular haunt for the Geordie Shore gang.

The interiors really are something to behold; party goers enter a bohemian world of sophistication, luxury and exotic eastern finery - with lavish indoor waterfalls, Eastern-style mosaic lamps, an elliptical recessed Champagne snug, privately serviced booths and a selection of the world’s finest drinks brands. All in all, this one’s a canny place to celebrate.

3. Bijoux

Bijoux has become synonymous with Geordie Shore, so it's an obvious pit stop on your crawl.

With a growing reputation as the busiest little bar in Newcastle, Bijoux draws huge, upbeat crowds of locals and visitors to the Toon alike. With exciting drinks offers and an awesome party vibe – this lively bar is without doubt, a must for the start of any night.

The interiors are small and compact, creating an intimate and friendly ambiance. Inside, there are sleek, lustrous black booths where you can kick back with your mates and really start the party as you mean to go on. This place has seen some of the UK’s finest and most popular DJs, and, with a constantly lively atmosphere, this is the hottest place to be seen. It's even seen a few famous faces in its time - Nathan Sykes, Ellie Goulding, Brian McFadden, Jack Whitehall, Jennifer Metcalfe and Mark Wright, we're looking at you.

4. Mono Bar Newcaslte

Newcastle’s large, designer bar, Mono (previously Ohso), is one fashionable haunt - attracting all the stylish young things from across the city, regularly including the Geordie Shore lot.

The bar is one of the liveliest in the Toon, boasting a cool, party atmosphere; always bustling, vibrant, and alive with an electric buzz spread across the two floors. The upper floor is host to an elegant, intimate and exclusive bar, which is the perfect spot for grabbing yourselves an exciting cocktail or glass of bubbly, to celebrate in style. The basement bar boasts live musicians on the weekend, playing a mix of soul, funk, disco and house music, renowned for whipping party goers into a frenzy.

Just off the Diamond Strip, Mono, with its modern fixtures, and intimate lighting, is always a hub of activity – and really, it’s no surprise why.

5. Perdu

Perdu is a real favourite amongst the Geordie Shore crew, with large portions of their booze-fuelled antics taking place here.

This popular nightclub is our first stop on the renowned Newcastle Diamond Strip. With exposed brickwork, classy booths, chandeliers and mood lighting, the vibe in this place is second to none. Perdu also boasts a cool, chic secret garden lounge, where you can have yourselves a few bevs (and a bit of good craic), in this hidden world, nestled within the bustling city centre.

Perdu offers the very best in live music and DJ sets, so grab yourselves a beer, cocktail, or a few shots and get yourselves on that dancefloor.

6. House of Smith

Moving up the Diamond Strip, we come to the oh-so-fabulous, Geordie Shore favourite, House of Smith.

Here, there is only one house rule – have the time of your life. You can celebrate in style, and true sophistication here, by delving into a world of luxurious 50s glamour; partying in a Great Gatsby-esque ballroom, with sumptuous sultry interiors and plush velvet booths to boot. Almost like a secret Moulin Rouge boudoir, this sexy venue boasts muted, atmospheric lighting, vintage exposed brickwork and an all-round alluring and lustrous vibe.

We would definitely recommend going out of your comfort zone, when choosing from the extensive and impressive drinks menu – with a glorious wide ranging selection of cocktails, and champagne should you fancy really going out with a bang.

7. Florita's Bar

A little further along the awesome Diamond Strip, we arrive at Florita’s.

This colourful, Miami inspired hotspot is a regular watering hole for the Geordie gang, as well as having had the likes of Lady Gaga, Fergie and Rihanna gracing their dance floors. The ambiance is a real draw with this place, transporting your drunken selves from the streets of Newcastle to an extravagant, tropical paradise, amidst the city centre.

With indoor trees, quirky décor and plush seating areas, you’ll feel like VIPs from the off in this place. In the true spirit of the chilled Hawaiian lifestyle, you can even drink from an actual coconut shell, completing that authentic tropical experience, or treat yourselves to a lethal Zombie cocktail – aye, purely belta, that.

8. Madame Koo Nightclub

Finally, we arrive at Madame Koo. Now, call us presumptuous, but we’re guessing that by now, in true Geordie Shore style, you’re getting pretty mortal.

Open ‘til late, Madame Koo is guaranteed to polish your night off to perfection - mint. With a secret den like vibe, the dark, mysterious and illustrious interiors of Madame Koo are the perfect backdrop for you lot to dance, drink and party ‘til the early hours. Boasting fancy red booths, exposed brickwork and sumptuous Asian statues, the general ambiance is one of elegance and refinement, albeit a little loose around the edges.

Playing everything from classic soul, disco, RnB, to indie, rock and pop, as well as those guilty pleasures we all secretly want to hear - Madame Koo really does offer something to suit every taste. Whey aye, man!
