Jorvik Cottage is a spacious and quaint countryside cottage sleeping up to 14 guests, located just a 14-minute drive from York city centre. With plenty of room to relax and its ever-popular hot tub, it’s a great base for a weekend away with the city close enough to reach easily by car or taxi.
The cottage has a mix of bedrooms and sofa beds spread across two floors. The ground floor has one double bedroom, plus three single sofa beds in the snug and lounge. Upstairs, there are two family bedrooms, one with a double and two singles, and another with a double and three singles.
There’s a bathroom upstairs with a bath and separate shower, while the ground floor has a separate shower room. The main living space includes a fully equipped kitchen-dining area and separate lounge, with French doors opening onto the shared patio and large lawn overlooking the pond.
Outside, guests have access to a private hot tub exclusively for Jorvik Cottage, along with bench seating and ample parking. The cottage also comes with everything needed for a self-catered stay, including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and a full range of kitchen essentials.
For downtime, there’s a flatscreen TV and DAB radio with an integrated Bluetooth speaker. The free wi-fi ensures that keeping connected is a breeze. There's also an iron and ironing board which might not be that interesting but is certainly helpful.
